Design Principles

Why are KINKO Pneumatic Valves so durable?

  • Pneumatic actuators operate independently of the working medium via piston rod connection
  • Self-adjusting packing ensures long-term, leak-free dynamic sealing
  • Bi-directional flow capability; for liquids, flow should close against the seat to prevent water hammer

Industrial Internet of Things cloud platform

Industrial Internet of Things, cloud control, big data analysis, pre diagnostic platform

Users can easily form an industrial Internet of Things through Bluetooth, WiFi, LORA, NB-IoT, Zigbee, GPRS, 4G, 5G and other methods, directly realizing remote wired and wireless control and communication. They can also access cloud data to achieve multi-screen control via industrial computers, mobile phones, tablets, etc., monitoring the operation status and data recording of valves, real-time monitoring and control of pipeline fluid flow, temperature, pressure, etc. At the same time, based on cloud data analysis, they can provide customers with pre-diagnostic reports on the status of actuators, valves and other equipment to help users maintain equipment more scientifically.

  • Flexible connectivity – Supports Bluetooth, WiFi, 4G/5G, LORA, NB-IoT, and more for remote wired or wireless control.
  • Real-time monitoring – Enables multi-screen access to valve status, flow, temperature, and pressure data anytime, anywhere.
  • Predictive maintenance – Cloud-based data analysis generates pre-diagnostic reports, helping users identify issues before they fail.

FAQ

What is the difference between a pneumatic ball valve and a pneumatic butterfly valve?
Ball valves use a rotating ball with a bore for on/off control, offering tight shut-off (Class VI) and full bore flow. Butterfly valves use a rotating disc, providing higher flow capacity (Cv) in a more compact, lightweight design for larger pipe sizes. Choose ball valves for critical shut-off; butterfly valves for high-flow, space-saving applications.
What air pressure is required to operate KINKO pneumatic valves?
KINKO pneumatic valves operate with air supply pressure of 3 to 8 bar (0.3 to 0.8 MPa). For double-acting actuators, minimum pressure is 3 bar; for single-acting (spring-return), 4 to 8 bar is recommended to overcome spring force.
Can pneumatic valves handle high-temperature steam and corrosive media?
Yes. With PTFE seals and stainless steel bodies (CF8/CF8M/316L), KINKO pneumatic valves handle steam up to 180°C and corrosive media. For aggressive chemicals, PTFE-lined or Hastelloy C276 options are available.
How do I choose between normally closed and normally open pneumatic valves?
Normally closed valves remain closed when no air is applied (spring closes), opening when actuated. Normally open valves remain open without air, closing when actuated. Choose based on your fail-safe requirements – NC for safety-critical applications where valve must stay closed on air failure.
What is the expected service life of KINKO pneumatic valves?
KINKO pneumatic valves are tested to deliver over 1 million cycles in continuous operation. Service life depends on operating conditions, media, and cycle frequency. For 24/7 high-cycle applications, our angle seat valves are specifically engineered for extended durability.
