KINKO Pneumatic Ball Valves

KINKO pneumatic ball valves combine quarter-turn actuation with precision-machined ball and seat technology for reliable on/off control. Available in 2-piece, 3-piece, and full-bore configurations, these valves deliver zero-leakage performance across a wide range of pressures and temperatures.

Behind Every Solution:

  • PTFE seats ensure bubble-tight shut-off
  • Quarter-turn operation with ≤0.5秒 actuation
  • Minimal pressure drop, full flow capacity
  • CF8/CF8M stainless steel bodies

Design Principles

Why are KINKO Pneumatic Ball Valves so durable?

  • The ball rotates 90° to open or close the flow path, providing fast, reliable shut-off
  • Floating or trunnion-mounted ball designs available for different pressure ratings
  • Self-lubricating PTFE seats reduce operating torque and extend cycle life

FAQ

What is the difference between floating ball and trunnion-mounted ball valves?
Floating ball valves use the upstream pressure to push the ball against the downstream seat, suitable for lower pressures (up to Class 300) and smaller sizes (up to DN200). Trunnion-mounted ball valves have a fixed ball with spring-loaded seats, ideal for high-pressure (Class 600+) and large-diameter applications, with lower operating torque.
What materials are available for pneumatic ball valves?
KINKO pneumatic ball valves are available with WCB (carbon steel), CF8 (304 stainless), CF8M (316 stainless), and PTFE-lined bodies. Seals are typically PTFE for general service, with PEEK or RTFE options for high-temperature or abrasive applications.
Are KINKO pneumatic ball valves fire-safe certified?
Yes. KINKO pneumatic ball valves are API 607 fire-safe certified, ensuring reliable shut-off even in fire conditions. This certification is critical for petrochemical, oil & gas, and other high-risk applications where fire safety is required.
What is the standard pressure rating for pneumatic ball valves?
KINKO pneumatic ball valves are available from PN16 to PN100 (Class 150 to Class 600). High-pressure custom designs up to Class 900 are available for specialized applications. Pressure rating should be selected based on system operating pressure and safety margin.
Can pneumatic ball valves be used for throttling control?
Standard full-bore ball valves are designed for On/Off service. For throttling applications, V-port ball valves with characterized V-notch balls are recommended, providing equal percentage flow characteristics for accurate flow regulation.
